The tomatoes, harvested in July, August and September, are processed to preserve their taste, aroma and nutritional properties.

After washing and sorting, the tomatoes are peeled, diced and taken to the next step: after adding tomato paste, the product is brought to high temperatures, bottled and pasteurized to ensure its stability over time.

Alce Nero organic tomato paste is prepared without additives or added salt.
