– Colour: Deep straw yellow with golden hues and subtle green reflections.
– Aroma: A bouquet of white and wildflowers—think dandelion and passionflower—layered with ripe peach, melon, and a whisper of tropical fruit.
– Palate: Full and harmonious, with a soft texture and flavours of crisp apple and juicy melon. Balanced acidity gives it freshness and finesse.
Vineyard & Vinification
– Origin: Prato della Porta vineyard, Rodello (430m altitude, southeast exposure)
– Soil: Clay-rich, fertile, and loose—ideal for aromatic whites
– Vinification:
– Gentle pressing
– Fermentation at 18–20°C for 30 days
– Aged on lees for 90 days to enhance mouthfeel
– Bottle aging for at least 2 months
