The Derthona Muntà l’è Ruma by Vigneti Giacomo Boveri is a distinguished white wine crafted from 100% Timorasso grapes, a native variety from the Colli Tortonesi region in Piedmont, Italy. This wine exemplifies the resurgence of Timorasso, often referred to as the “white Barolo” due to its complexity and aging potential.

Winemaking Process
– Harvest: Manual, mid-September
– Fermentation: Soft pressing followed by clarification of the must and controlled-temperature fermentation at 18°C
– Aging: The wine remains on noble lees for 18 months with weekly bâtonnage, followed by at least 12 months of bottle aging before release
This wine presents a golden yellow hue. The nose is characterized by candied citrus fruits, orange blossom, and rock honey, with hints of pepper and ginger on the finish. On the palate, it offers a dynamic and electric experience, with layers of salty minerality, white stone fruits, and a chalky finish.
