Parmigiano Reggiano Mountain product aged 12 months has a soft and smooth texture, particularly suitable for those who prefer to savor the softer and sweeter flavors of mountain milk, with vegetal notes such as grass, flowers and fruit.
This cheese is defined as “fresh” or “for meals” by experts because it does not yet have the characteristic granularity of more advanced maturing.
The paste has a light straw yellow colour, characteristic of Parmigiano Reggiano di Montagna, produced from the milk of cows raised in the mountains and fed with local forage.
