Ugolino Bolgheri DOC – Il Poderone

Ugolino, our DOC certified Bolgheri Rosso selected for the “Il Poderone” line, unlike the others, is grown, processed and bottled in the Bolgheri area at the cellar of one of our winemakers.

 

ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS:

– Color: Intense ruby red with violet reflections

– Nose: Very fresh red berry fruit, with hints of raspberry

– Taste: Balanced and with excellent structure, with a long and persistent finish Very soft, silky tannins with a delicate texture, pleasant in the mouth with a long and tasty finish

– Production area: Castagneto Carducci (Li)

– Soil: Medium mixture with the presence of gravel of alluvial origin

– Cultivation technique: Spurred cordon

– Vinification: Fermentation with natural yeasts and maturation in concrete vats

– Production and Packaging: 750 ml glass bottles
