It is the Barbera that tells the story of the Boveri family. The name of this wine is the date in which Giovanni Boveri, Giacomo’s great-great-grandfather, purchased the land on which the vineyard stands today, probably the oldest in the municipality of Costa Vescovato.Grape variety: Barbera 100%Vineyard processing: Fertilized with organic-based products, green manure in alternate rows with mechanical weeding.Since 2019 the company has followed the “DTP Passione & Ragione – Sustainable Viticulture” protocolProcessing in the cellar: pressing and vinification in steel barrels at a controlled temperature (26° C). Delastage mid-fermentation. Maceration for four to eight days at the end of fermentation depending on the vintage. One year of aging in steel, then bottling and further aging in the bottle for 6 months before being released on the market.
