The babà is a typical traditional Neapolitan dessert, famous for its delicate taste and the softness of its dough. You can wet it with liqueur or fill it with custard. A delight!
This product is dry (not soaked in liquid).
How to wet the Baba with rum or limoncello (procedure for 1 package):
Ingredients for 1 package: 8 dl of water, 350 g of sugar, half a glass of rum or limoncello, five lemon peel.
Preparation method: Put everything together in a pot, bring it to a boil let it boil for about five minutes. Remove from heat and let the syrup cool. When it reaches a temperature of about 40 ºC, add half a glass of rum or limoncello. Mix everything and soak the babas completely for about five minutes. Squeeze them slightly to remove the excess rum and let them drain for another five minutes.
Finally, with the aid of a syringe for sweets, fill the Baba with custard or chocolate to spread and if you like to decorate with jelly for desserts. The Baba should be served cold with the possible addition of a little syrup prepared previously.

Soft wheat flour type “0”, eggs, vegetable margarine without hydrogenated fats (vegetable oils and fats (palm and sunflower), water, acidity regulator: E330, aromas), sugar, salt, natural yeast.
May contain traces of soy, milk and nuts (almonds and nuts).
